THINGS TO DO IN BOULDER - KIDS & FAMILY FRIENDLY

As you plan your trip to Boulder to attend the Every Day I See My Dream opening reception from 7-9PM on July 19, I’ve pulled together a list of things to do with your kids + fam!

The opening party is absolutely kid and family friendly, and dress code is whatever you’re wearing.

Consider making a day of the trip, and have so much fun! 😘

Outdoors

  • Check out the Public Art Walking Tour in Boulder! This easy, scenic walking tour will take you on a leisurely stroll down Pearl Street that will take about 20-30 minutes. Check out a map and a list of the art you’ll see along the way!

  • Growing Up Boulder has great maps to point you to tons more kid-friendly sites and activities in Boulder.

  • Enjoy the 2024 Pearl Street Arts Fest! My opening reception happens to land on the first day of this iconic annual Boulder event, open from 3-8pm on Friday. There is so much to see, including a kid-friendly itinerary, and a scavenger hunt to explore!

Indoors

  • I’ve only heard amazing things about Junkyard Social Club - I can’t wait to check it out! During standard open hours, you can explore our indoor and outdoor play-spaces. Grab a coffee, an adult beverage, or a bite to eat from the in-house cafe.

  • Learn where and how rain begins at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Ever touched a cloud? Created a tornado? Your kids can do both at NCAR’s visitor center. Interactive and hands-on exhibits will take the little ones on an exciting journey through the world of weather and climate. Plus, great views of the Boulder Valley and gorgeous hiking trails right out the door. Sign up for their free public tours (available Mon, Wed, and Fri at noon).

  • Color Me Mine - This longstanding family favorite welcomes those who want to have a seat and paint their own ceramics. You can come back in about a week to pick up your fired creations or have them mailed to you.
