You’ve seen the Calender family profiled here a few times before. They are some of my oldest friends, and I still remember the days of living together right after college. Before everyone got married and had (the cutest) kids! We were so young!
Matt & Brynn were also the kick that really encouraged us to take a deep breath, confront our fears, and figure out how to go about buying a house this year. We were just stuck and scared and not sure how to get started. And… here we are, homeowners as of June 3, 2016!
It’s crazy that we can live in the same city and state, but the last time I really visited with them was a YEAR ago when I took cute baby pics of Peyton shortly after he was born. Peyton is a little over a year old now, and such an amazing kiddo. We’re DEFINITELY not waiting this long to get together again! Backyard BBQs, stat!
I've had a "bucket list" of areas I want to photograph in the Denver area, but haven't gotten to do yet. One of them is LoDo - living further east in Aurora, it's not super close, but it's a vibrant, beautiful place. Brynn knew a bridge in the area that she loved and wanted to include, so we decided to make it happen. When I went out a couple of week before to scout locations with MY family... both my sons fell deeply asleep on the drive, so we didn't get a chance to actually FIND anything. Luckily the Calenders were up for some exploring during our session. ;)
